Charming aubusson tapestry from the end of the 17th and beginning of the 18th century.
In a magnificent landscape of trees, flowers, villages and castles, a bird is basking on the banks of a river.
Very rich border with garlands of flowers and foliage.
The exceptional preservation of the colours of the wools and silks, their freshness, their vivacity, their contrast of the darkest to the lightest tones enhanced by red and orange, brings to this tapestry a lot of warmth, relief and luminosity.
It is an excellent example of the most beautiful "green" tapestries woven in the Aubusson workshops.
It has these borders and its original.
Our house assures you the sale of a tapestry with invoice and approved expertise, well cleaned, in good condition with its fixing system.
