Painter of landscapes, flowers, decorative compositions, tapestries and stained glass boxes, Odette Caly participates in numerous group exhibitions in Paris, in the provinces and abroad: Salon d'Automne, Salon des Femmes Peintres, Salon de the National Society of Fine Arts. Since 1954 she has also carried out numerous personal exhibitions, especially in Paris. This did not prevent it from being present in Rouen in 1955, Toulouse in 1960 and 1963, La Rochelle in 1965 and 1966, Rennes in 1965, Laren (Netherlands) in 1966, Montpellier in 1969. It won several regional awards. . She also painted numerous tapestry cartoons for the manufactures of Beauvais and the Manufacture des Gobelins. One of his works The Pink Basket resulted in the issuance of a stamp in 1984 to benefit the Red Cross.
