Tapestry from Brussels or Enghien, executed in the 2nd part of the 16th century in wool and silk.

Our panel was probably made by Philippe Van Der Cammen's workshop.

Its register is The Life of Abraham, representing the Pharaoh of Egypt liberating Sarah to Abraham (Genesis 12:10-20).

Guy Delamarcel describes and illustrates in his book (page 175) the same tapestry dating from 1575 (private Italian collection).
